I have worked for the Kansas City School District (since 2000) as a school
counselor, and as one of the heads of the Mental Health Team. In 2005, I was
selected as the Greater Kansas City Guidance Association’s Elementary
Counselor of the Year.
I enjoy working with all age groups, and my perspective is from an Individual
Psychology viewpoint (Alfred Adler and his followers). I enjoy doing play
therapy (sand tray), groups and individual/relationship work.
On a personal note, I have been married 26 years, and have two sons. I enjoy
reading, exercise (including martial arts) and nature.
