Who can foster?
  • All sorts of people in Missouri are foster parents.
     
  • Foster parents can be single or married.  

  • They are twenty-one years of age or older.

  • Some have children of their own, while others do not.

  • Some have full-time jobs, and some work part time.

  • Foster parents have varying levels of income, but all are able to
    provide for the needs of the children they care for.

  • Homeowners can be foster parents.  

  • Renters can be foster parents too.

  • Foster parents may belong to a church, synagogue or mosque.  
    But they don't have to!

  • Some foster parents are physically challenged.

  • Foster parents can be heterosexual or homosexual.

  • Foster parents come from all different walks of life, different
    lifestyles, different races, and different life experiences.
