Job Description:
Provide STARS pre-service training, Spaulding adoption training and Module
training to eligible foster/adoptive parents.  Assess prospective foster families’
competencies throughout the pre-service training process.  Provide in-service
training to foster/adoptive parents with the approval of the local state agency
office.  Qualified applicants will have received some or all of the following:
  • STARS Pre-Service Train-the-Trainer
  • Spaulding Train-the-Trainer
  • Module Training (all modules preferred)                   
1.  Trainer:  



Job Description:
Provide STARS pre-service training, Spaulding adoption training and Module
training to eligible foster/adoptive parents.  Assess prospective foster families’

2.  Foster Parent Co-Trainer:  



Job Description:
Provide weekly individual, family, and couples counseling services to populations
served by our agency.  Background in work with the child welfare system is helpful.
Individuals interested in this position should be self-starters, have excellent time-
management and writing skills, and be able to consistently provided sixty-day
progress reports.  

Additional Duties:  
Provide home studies for families wishing to become licensed foster/approved
adoptive parents.  Applicants having received any or all of the following training
will be most desired!
  • STARS Pre-Service Train-the-Trainer
  • Spaulding Train-the-Trainer
  • Module Training (all modules preferred)
